Clint Elliott is an environmental scientist and long-time Murrells Inlet community volunteer and civic leader. He manages all drinking water labs for the Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority and represents northeastern S.C. on the Drought Response Committee that governs drought-related issues and response statewide.
A life-long resident of Georgetown County, Clint graduated from Pleasant Hill High before earning a microbiology degree at Clemson and working for the S.C. Dept. of Health and Environmental Control, testing newborn babies for genetic disorders and water quality safety for drinking and recreation.
Clint is a board member of the Waccamaw chapter of Coastal Conservation Association, where he’s been active in rebuilding oyster beds in the inlet that are vital to fishing. He’s a graduate and alumni board member of Leadership Grand Strand.
Clint and his wife Marodith attend Belin Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoy hunting, fishing, and boating.
